The need for a directory of public international lawyers of standing and prominence in the judicial, academic and professional fields has long been felt. We hope that this need can now be satisfied by a new publication, Who’s Who in Public International Law.

This directory focuses upon those persons who devote or have devoted a significant part of their activities to public international law, whether as judges, arbitrators, practicing lawyers, officials of governments and international organizations, members of inter-governmental legal bodies or academics.  It is hoped that it will be of assistance in the selection of arbitrators and litigation lawyers.

The volume contains the essential details of those entered in it – their education, professional qualifications, experience and achievements. In addition, there is also an index to assist in identifying individuals by reference to their special interests.
